LONG-TERM WORK PERMIT
Long-term work permits are designed for foreign workers undertaking work exceeding 180 days up to two (2) years. There are different classes of work permits depending on the foreign worker’s profession. A long-term work permit must be accompanied by a special pass for initial entry into Tanzania and a residence permit application to reside in Tanzania for up to two (2) years.

- Application form
- Copies of qualifications
- Detailed curriculum vitae
- Motivation letter from the host company
- Employment contract from the host company
- Detailed job description from the host company
- Sectoral approvals/ permits/ registrations
- Tax clearance certificate from the host company
- Business license from the host company
