Tanzania is home to the largest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the world’s second deepest lake, Lake Tanganyika. There is potential for growth in the telecom, ICT, and agribusiness sectors. If you are looking to grow your business or bring in the valuable skill set of your foreign employees in this jurisdiction, Tanzania offers various immigration options for exploring business opportunities, and for undertaking work. Despite various interventions being imposed worldwide to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Government Authorities in Tanzania have yet to enforce a complete shutdown. However, there are some movement restrictions in place in areas and most government offices are not operational.

Those with ordinary entry visas that are due to expire in Tanzania are required to obtain a 30 day extension from the Immigration Head Office-Kurasini in Dar es Salaam. Ordinary entry visas can be renewed until further guidance is received on the upliftment of travel restrictions.
